Pengerusi Permodalan Kedah Berhad

Assalamualaikum,

All praise is due to Allah SWT, Lord of all the worlds. Blessings and peace be upon our noble Prophet Muhammad S.A.W., who conveyed the message of faith and Islam to all of us, as well as to his companions, the learned scholars, and all Muslim men and women, especially the people of the State of Kedah Darul Aman. It is my hope, as the Chairman of the Company, to see the state government–linked companies (GLCs) continue to grow and remain competitive in the global market. We must realise that the objective of establishing GLCs is not merely to pursue profits alone, but to act as implementing agents of the government in carrying out state government policies. At the same time, efforts to nurture Bumiputera entrepreneurs must be further strengthened, alongside the creation of broader business opportunities for the people of the State of Kedah. Healthy competition among GLCs as well as between GLCs and private companies should be given due emphasis in order to ensure business sustainability in the future. I also hope that the subsidiaries under the PKB Group will continue to achieve success in the business fields they are involved in, and I am deeply grateful that the Official Website of Permodalan Kedah Berhad has been successfully published.

With best wishes for continued success.
